SPOTLIGHT

T as in Thomas, E as in Eric, and N as in Norwood are TEN, the hottest, rockingest, new band on the SF music scene.  On Valentine's Night at Yoshi's the trio paid tribute to Jimi Hendrix doing an entire set of the legend's music.  Normally the lounge is the lesser venue to Yoshi's Main Room but on this night if there was a headliner in the main room you wouldn'v have known because all the energy and flow in the building was on the smaller stage with TEN.  Here is but a small glimpse and have no worries there will be more.   Adding to an almost speakeasy like soiree Delphine De St. Paër commands the stage with a sultry dance in a sparkling red dress.  It is unfortunate that drummer Thomas Pridgen is hidden behind all the bodies but you can definitely hear his outstanding drumming and Norwood pushed the heavy bass non stop all night.  Stellar performance all the way around from TEN.
